What is God’s plan for us? What purpose did He have in mind? It is not just to save and forgive us through the death and resurrection of His Son. It is also to free us now from the futile way of life that leads to death. He did not die for us so that we could carry on living the life of the dead – living for ourselves: But so that we should live the life that leads to life, in loving service to our Saviour.
