Now that’s an interesting thought! I do know the names of a couple of my great-grandmothers. I wonder how they have influenced me.

I’ve been thinking about that. Probably in the way they have brought up your grandmother and then the way she in turn brought up your mother. If the great grandmother lived frugally, it’s more likely that you are going to be, simply because your grandmother and then your mother is. Although I suppose it could have the opposite effect! If they cheated and swindled, then their offspring are more likely to. If they live by a high moral standard, that too is more likely to be passed on. I definitely think I’m getting more like my mother as I get older!
