The pessimist complains about the wind. The optimist expects it to change. The leader adjusts the sails.

And who will win the race? Hmm…believers with a “LOL smiley face”. 🙂

Or in other words: if you are not the happy owner of a snug sailing boat …you could just sit…close your eyes, listen to a wind chime, and get your feelings touched by Him…

PS
Don’t wonder, Fiona, this was not one of my most earnest comments ever written 😉 Yet two earnest questions in the end.
What about your reading-the-whole-Bible-in-a-year’s-time-plan? Isn’t it too much for a busy mother, wife, housewife, churchgoer, and who knows what else?

Much love,
Susanne

Hi Susanne, good to hear from you!

I know it’s only 19 days in but so far so good! I chose a plan that gives 5 days of reading and 2 days to catch up. I’ve discovered I’m struggling to keep up with my daily reading notes more than the through the Bible plan and use the 2 days mostly to catch up with them. Whether I can sustain this throughout the year or not remains to be seen but I’ve done it before so I’m hopeful…

I trust you and yours are well. Thanks for keeping in touch.

Love Fiona
